Here is a quick list of the 43 things I learned in my first 43 years!

1. It’s a good thing to feel uncomfortable

2. You never arrive to a point you don’t screw up and don’t have problems.  The key is to always be course correcting and getting back on track.

3. We get paid in life based on our ability to solve problems and help others.  Acquire those skills

4. Never talk ill of another’s success, you are telling the universe that you don’t deserve it for yourself

5. Happy people don’t go on line and shit talk others.  The times I’ve done that in the past, I was not happy deep down

6. Call your closest friends at least once per month.  Don’t offer anything, don’t ask for anything.  Just call and jam

7. Read 10 books per year.  Pick a subject you want to know more about and dive in

8. Having a great assistant is the best money I have ever spent, I paid more than anyone else in the industry.  Worth every penny.

9. What you do when no one is looking is who you really are

10.  Don’t invest with your friends, they aren’t as smart as you think and it can destroy the friendship

11.  Travel.  There is never a “good time” to take 10 days and go to Europe or Asia, but make the sacrifice.  Nothing has taught me more than my travels

12. Be willing to get rejected.  This is a super power in business, sales, dating, learning

13. Be on time, it’s a respect thing

14. None of us are qualified to teach others, do it anyways.  You’ll surprise yourself

15. Go for a 30-45 min walk every day.

16. You have a responsibility to not be a liability to the people in your life.  Create physical, financial, and emotional safety for your loved ones

17. If someone comes to your mind, call them immediately

18. True intelligence isn’t so much big words, it’s saying things so that others can understand them

19. We don’t deserve dogs. Get one.

20. Buy cash flowing real estate and never sell it.

21. Be passionate.  About anything… And everything

22. Fortune really does favor the bold

23. Get dressed up.  Dress nice, go for a theme, be extra

24. You get into a relationship to learn how to love someone, don’t break up so fast when you are both learning still

25. Find who is where you want to be that used to be where you are now.  Do whatever you can to be around them and learn from them

26. Sit on the front row

27. If you want to for sure make the wrong decision, ask everyone for their opinion

28. The people that love you the most give the worst advice cause they want you to feel less pain and will almost always tell you to choose the safe path.

29. Don’t be a nice guy, be a good man

30. Every time you say “yes” to something you are saying no to a lot of other things.  Learn that NO is a complete sentence.

31. Learn to write and learn to speak.  Nothing will open more doors for you

32. Celebrate everything, this is how we honor God

33. Open up about your failures.  It makes others feel safe to do the same and intimacy is formed

34. With those you love most, call them forward don’t call them out.  The difference is your own ego

35. Sports are designed to break your heart over something that doesn’t actually matter

36. All war is bad, the side pushing for the war is the wrong side

37. You can get more love from 1 woman then you can from 1000…

38. Stealing and cheating are the lowest levels of human behavior.  It’s never justified.

39. Be a creator not a consumer.. Social media advice

40. People that say money can’t buy happiness haven’t given enough of it away

41. Always error on trying to talk it out.  Communication is everything

42. People completely change every 6-7 years.  Either you evolve together or someone gets left behind

43. We are the reason for everything that happens in our lives.  Both good and bad.
